When the Grocery Store Trip Never Happened

Today I had a serious craving for burgers and fries… but I was running on approximately 17 minutes of sleep and completely forgot to stop at the grocery store.

Luckily, Mother’s Day leftovers came through clutch because I still had Hawaiian rolls sitting in the kitchen like little buttery lifesavers. Crisis officially avoided.

Now HERE’S the real challenge:
My twins act personally offended by burgers.
Chicken nuggets? Immediate standing ovation.
Burgers? Suddenly they’re world-class food critics.

BUT… if I sneak on their favorite BBQ sauce?
Boom. Victory.

Toddlers really make you earn their approval one dramatic bite at a time, so trust me when I say this recipe is parent-tested and survival-approved.

Simple.
Quick.
Made from whatever was left in the kitchen.
And honestly? Those are usually the meals that hit the hardest.

I’ll post the recipe in the recipe section because we’re all out here just trying to win another night of “what’s for dinner?” without losing our minds.
